  2. This is to honor the memory of the students killed at Brown, and all the others whose lives were changed in an instant. Let’s make this a reason for doubling our efforts at preventing gun violence.

In memory of all of the innocent children who were savagely gunned down, while simply going to school, and all of the innocent people who are victims of mass shootings with semi automatic weapons. It may not happen in my lifetime, but I pray that common sense gun laws, protecting innocent people from these weapons of war, are enacted.

He leaves a loving and talented family, and countless now middle-aged and older friends, attorneys, commissioners and judges whom he guided, mentored or respectfully challenged along the way. Rest in peace old friend, your legacy lives on in so many. You, your love, your intellect and your wit will never be forgotten.
