Next Step: Email Senate Judiciary
The RI House has voted for three common-sense, evidence-backed reforms and sent them to the Senate Judiciary Commitee. The next step to getting these bills to Governor Dan McKee’s desk for signature is for Senate Judiciary to vote to move these three bills to the floor for a vote.
On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, Senate Judiciary will take up these bills – please send this email to urge the Committee to vote in favor of these reforms.
Additional Impact
Visit this page to find contact information for each House and Senate member, including: phone numbers, emails, mailing addresses, and if they have been endorsed by RICAGV. The additional contacts are even more impactful ways to ask for support.
If your local legislators are on board, share the contact information with your friends and family members, particularly if they live one of the leader’s districts: Warwick, Providence, and North Providence!
