PROVIDENCE − Thank you to all of the advocates and partners who joined us in Governor McKee’s State Room on Thursday, June 26th, 2025 to mark the passage of the “Unlawful Sale of Prohibited Firearms Act.”
Elected officials in attendance included Gov. McKee, Speaker Shekarchi, Senate President Lawson, lead bill sponsors Sen. DiPalma and Rep. Knight, Lt. Governor Matos and Treasurer Diossa among others.
Partners joining included representatives from RI Kids Count, RI Council of Churches, RI Coalition Against Domestic Violence, AFL-CIO of RI, and Moms Demand Action RI.
